Paul Assinesi

Paul is currently the head boys varsity basketball coach and director at St. Joseph’s Catholic School. He led his 2013-2014 team to the upper state championship game with a record of 21-7. He has been named coach of the year 3 out of his 7 seasons and has over 100 wins as head coach. Paul played college basketball at University of North Carolina – Greensboro from 1982-1985. A native of California, he is the founder of AAU Program kids 2 the hoop and coached high school and AAU teams for 7 years before moving to South Carolina.

Kelly Assinesi

2 year varsity letter at St. Joesph's HS. Helped lead the knights to first ever winning season (20-8). He was third in the state of South Carolina in scoring, averaging 27 ppg, broke the 1,000-point mark during his two year stint at St. Joseph's, two time conference player of the year and first team all state, holds the school record for most points in a game (49), finished high school tenure with 1,854 points. Played 2 years Division 1 at Liberty University and is currently playing at Piedmont College.

Landry Assinesi

Was a four-year letter winner at St. Joseph's HS. In that time was named first-team All-conference sophmore, junior, and senior year. Named to the All-state team as a junior. Was named third-team All- county his senior year. Led his team to the schools first ever 20 win season and to the upperstate finals. Was ranked top 3 in the state of South Carolina for assists per game and currently holds the record for most assists in a career (510).  Currently plays at Piedmont College.

Drew Assinesi

Played 4 years of High School Basketball at La Salle High School in Pasadena California. He was captain for 2 years, first team all league junior and senior years and second team all CIF and MVP his senior year.

Drew continued his career in college at University of Dallas in Texas. He played 4 years and was captain his sophomore, junior and senior years. He was voted MVP his junior and senior year and named Association of Division 3 player of the week.

Mason Holle

Was a three-year letter winner and a two-year starter for the Spartans of La Canada High School. Was a first-team All-Rio Hondo League selection as a senior and a second-team honoree as a junior. He led his team to the CIF Championship and was third all-time at the school for assists. Played 2 years at Randolph College and went on to be a team captain for 2 years at Birmingham Southern University. Mason graduated from Birmingham Southern with a degree in sociology and now leads our PSA Program in Pasadena California. Mason is also currently the assistant coach Cal State Los Angeles University.
